Volleyball Recap: Aspira Business and Finance Comes Up Short on the Road Against Kelvyn Park

Aspira Business and Finance had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Kelvyn Park Panthers by a score of 2-1. The White Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Aspira Business and Finance sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-20.

The win got Kelvyn Park back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aspira Business and Finance will head out to face off against Alcott at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kelvyn Park, they will challenge Chicago Mathematics & Science at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give Kelvyn Park their first taste of in-conference action this season.
