Volleyball Game Preview: Vancleave Bulldogs vs. North Pike Jaguars

The Vancleave Bulldogs will square off against the North Pike Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Vancleave took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against St. Martin as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Vancleave was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-8.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when North Pike faced off against Brookhaven on Thursday. The Jaguars walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

North Pike was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 21-25, 25-14.

North Pike's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Vancleave, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
