Volleyball Recap: Madison West Takes a Loss

Madison West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lake Mills L-Cats.

Madison West's loss dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Lake Mills, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Madison West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Arcadia on the 27th. As for Lake Mills, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against DeForest on the 27th.
