Bloomington North had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt White River Valley on Tuesday. The Cougars blew past the Wolverines 11-1. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Molly Klein spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Kendon Galligher and Grayson Gill did most of the damage at the plate: Galligher went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one double, while Gill went 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits Gill has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaydence Silvers, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Bloomington North now has a winning record of 3-2. As for White River Valley, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Bloomington North wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Terre Haute South Vigo on the 17th. As for White River Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 12-5 defeat against Clay City on the 21st.
