Volleyball Recap: Brawley Takes a Loss

Brawley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Calexico Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Brawley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-16.

Brawley's record is now 0-7. As for Calexico, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Brawley Wildcats duke it out with Imperial Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calexico, they will take on San Pasqual in a tournament on Friday.
