Volleyball Recap: Philip Takes a Loss

Philip was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Miller Rustlers.

Jessa Schofield paced Philip's offense, picking up three kills. Schofield got some help from Kale Peterson and her three assists.

Philip's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Miller, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Philip will square off against Bennett County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miller, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Warner on the 18th.
