Volleyball Recap: Globe Takes a Loss

Globe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Red Mesa Redskins.

While Globe ultimately came up short, they really made Red Mesa work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24.

Globe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Red Mesa, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Globe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Valley Lutheran on the 6th. As for Red Mesa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Redskins surely won't give up without a fight.
