Volleyball Game Preview: New Albany Eagles vs. Bishop Watterson Eagles

New Albany are taking a road trip to take on Bishop Watterson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bishop Watterson took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on New Albany, who comes in off a win.

If Newark wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played New Albany, they should've done a better job of containing Adam Sutton. The Eagles came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday for which the team can thank Sutton, who had 12 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last six games he's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 20-25, 25-17, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Bishop Watterson faced Lincoln in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Lions. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

New Albany is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Bishop Watterson, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.
