Basketball Recap: Tonopah Muckers vs. Pahranagat Valley Panthers
After soaring to 55 points the game before, Tonopah was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They took a hard 44-26 fall against the Pahranagat Valley Panthers. The Muckers were probably out for revenge after losing 53-23 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the defeat, Tonopah saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Landen Blackburn dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. With that strong performance, Blackburn is now averaging an impressive 8.3 boards per game.
