The Stratford Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Preston Pirates at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Stratford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.3 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Stratford was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to Konawa. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 14-7 in the first quarter.

Despite the defeat, Stratford saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Oliver Smithwick went 6-for-11 to rack up 18 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trevor Wood, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Preston entered their tilt with Eufaula on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They came out on top against the Ironheads by a score of 54-46.

Preston pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Stratford, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
