Inderkum extended their winning streak to 18 games thanks to a huge performance from Malachi Johnson. The Inderkum Tigers enjoyed a cozy 74-56 win over the Moreau Catholic Mariners on Saturday thanks in part to Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 16 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Taylen Goodman, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 10 points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Despite the loss, Moreau Catholic still got an impressive performance from Kellen Hampton, who scored 13 points and six assists. Dominic Walker was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Inderkum's victory bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Moreau Catholic, their record now sits at 19-5.

Inderkum and Moreau Catholic should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Inderkum (ranked 12th) will meet Rio Americano (ranked 191st) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Inderkum is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road. Similarly, Moreau Catholic will square off against American at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 733 places (68 vs. 801). Inderkum is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 72.5 points per game this season.
