Basketball Game Preview: Red Rock Central Falcons vs. Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots

Red Rock Central is 0-10 against Hills-Beaver Creek since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Red Rock Central Falcons will face off against the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Red Rock Central has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 196 points over their last three matchups.

Red Rock Central took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-53 win over Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hills-Beaver Creek). They breezed by Murray County Central to the tune of 81-47 on Tuesday. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Hills-Beaver Creek has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Red Rock Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-15.

Red Rock Central was taken down by Hills-Beaver Creek 70-38 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Red Rock Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
