Basketball Recap: Aynor Takes a Loss

Aynor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 42-28 fall against the Marlboro County Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Blue Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 105th).

Aynor's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Marlboro County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aynor and Loris will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Marlboro County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Georgetown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Amos Jones and Justin Purvis.
