Softball Recap: Kennedy Catholic Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Kennedy Catholic's offense. They came up short against the Tahoma Bears on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Kennedy Catholic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrey Mowat, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Kennedy Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Tahoma, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Kennedy Catholic will venture away from home to face off against Kentwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tahoma, they will welcome Auburn at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.57 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
