Softball Recap: Lisbon Takes a Loss

The Lisbon Broncos came up short against the Central Cass Squirrels on Saturday and fell 8-3. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nevaeh Buffett made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kiera Maus, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Central Cass, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lisbon will head out to take on Hankinson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Cass, they will face off against Kindred/Richland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Colts will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Squirrels surely won't give up without a fight.
