Baseball Recap: Cisco's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Cisco had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Brady Bulldogs. For the Loboes, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Pecos Duke was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Williams, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Cisco's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Brady, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cisco is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Lipan at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cisco is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season. Brady will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ingram Moore at 7:00 p.m. on March 28th.
