Softball Recap: Gaston Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Gaston finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against the Sardis Lions, falling 7-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2015.

The defeat snapped Gaston's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record. As for Sardis, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Gaston has already played their next game, a 20-9 loss against Cedar Bluff on the 20th. As for Sardis, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wauconda at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
