Southside won the last time they faced Bryant and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mavericks walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hornets.

Southside had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-22.

Southside found their leader in sophomore Harper Hogue, who had 13 digs. Rachel Settle also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
