Softball Recap: Laurens Comes Up Short

Laurens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Wren Hurricanes.

Laurens saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Carlisle, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Laurens' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Wren, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

While Laurens had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
