West Aurora has gone a perfect 9-0 against Glenbard East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Blackhawks will welcome the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, West Aurora got the win against Streamwood by a conclusive 19-5. The result was nothing new for the Blackhawks, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Glenbard East's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Elmwood Park a 3-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to Claire Bolda's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

Glenbard East pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for West Aurora, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Everything went West Aurora's way against Glenbard East in their previous meeting back in May of 2019, as West Aurora made off with a 16-1 win. Will the Blackhawks repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
