Glenbard West won the last time they faced Wheaton North and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hilltoppers won by a set and slipped past the Falcons 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Hilltoppers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (73-72) Glenbard West actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-23, 27-25.

Wheaton North's loss came despite strong showings from Abby Lee and Sophia Ohashi. Lee had 13 digs and three assists, while Ohashi had 17 assists and five digs.

Glenbard West's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Wheaton North, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-8 record.

Glenbard West has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lake Park on the 2nd. As for Wheaton North, they will challenge Lake Country Lutheran at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
