After a string of three wins, Stringer's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 30-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sylva Bay Academy Saints. The contest marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Stringer now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Sylva Bay Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stringer won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Clarkdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarkdale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season.
