Recap: International Community Comets vs. Forest Lake Academy Panthers
The International Community Comets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Forest Lake Academy by a score of 51-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss International Community has suffered yet this season.
Several Comets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Paxton Boaz, who scored 12 points along with two blocks. That's the first time this season that Boaz posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Slade Woodruff, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
International Community's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Forest Lake Academy, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
International Community will be playing in front of their home fans against North Kissimmee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Kissimmee Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,006 points over their last 12 matchups. As for Forest Lake Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
