North Central III (8 Man) recap September 4, 2013

Point Arena's Roger Madina recorded the longest rushing play in North Central III (8 Man) this season in his game against Mendocino last week. Madina ran for 65 yards on the play and finished with 121 on the day as his team lost to the Cardinals.

Laytonville lost to Anderson Valley 74-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Rincon Valley Christian's dynamic duo of Daniel Maples and Morgan Guiesponi proved tough for Potter Valley to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Maples threw for 194 yards and 4 touchdowns and Guiesponi had 87 yards receiving. Ben Crane helped Rincon Valley Christian's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 50 yards.

The Eagles' dynamic duo of Maples and Guiesponi proved to be unstoppable against the Bearcats, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

He was 11-25 with 0 interceptions.

Maples put up the best numbers through the air as Rincon Valley Christian beat Potter Valley.

Guiesponi was the best receiver in the league this week as Brad Rickard's team beat Dan Taber's team.

Madina was the most successful running back in the league this week. Oscar Rios also contributed to the rushing game with 90 yards on the ground.

The Eagles' Maples and Guiesponi have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading North Central III (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Maples has thrown for 194 yards this season, while Guiesponi has 6 catches for 87 yards. Madina from Point Arena leads the league in rushing with 121 yards.

The Bearcats are currently in fourth, while the Panthers are in third.

Anderson Valley led the league in scoring this week after putting up 74 points on the Warriors.
