Basketball Recap: Chloe Lynn's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Citronelle over Washington County

Citronelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Washington County Bulldogs. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in December of 2018.

Citronelle lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Chloe Lynn, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taishauna Moody, who scored 12 points.

Citronelle's record now sits at 2-16. As for Washington County, their record now sits at 11-8.

Citronelle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington County, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Millry at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Washington County is facing Millry at the right time seeing as Millry is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
