Volleyball Game Preview: St. Patrick Saints vs. Harrison County Thorobreds/Fillies

St. Patrick is 0-4 against Harrison County since September of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Saints will head out on the road to take on the Thorobreds/Fillies at 7:00 p.m. Harrison County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Patrick, who comes in off a win.

St. Patrick was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Robertson County 2-1.

Meanwhile, Harrison County didn't have quite enough to beat Nicholas County on Monday and fell 3-2.

St. Patrick's win ended an 11-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-13. As for Harrison County, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 12-11.

St. Patrick suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Harrison County when the teams last played back in September. Can the Saints avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
