Panhandle had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They snuck past the Abernathy Antelopes with a 53-47 win on Thursday. The Panthers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Panhandle pushed their record up to 30-3 with the victory, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.9 points. As for Abernathy, their defeat dropped their record down to 26-9.

Panhandle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 85-16 win against Ballinger on the 17th. Abernathy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
