It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Grand County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs. The victory continues a trend for Grand County in their matchups with Gunnison Valley: they've now won five in a row.

Grand County's one-goal win came courtesy of Joel Tavares, which was the first he's scored this season.

Grand County pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Gunnison Valley, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Grand County will welcome South Sevier at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Sevier will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Grand County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gunnison Valley, they will face off against Beaver at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
