Baseball Game Preview: St. David's Warriors vs. GRACE Christian Eagles

For the second straight game, St. David will face off against GRACE Christian. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.

St. David's barely beat GRACE Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 7-1 win on Tuesday.

Grey McMahon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because St. David's is 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Thomas Vinson was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adkins Allen, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

St. David's now has a winning record of 4-3. As for GRACE Christian, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
