Volleyball Recap: Texas School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

Texas School for the Deaf saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Churchill Chargers. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Jami Haynes and Melanie Rubinshteyn, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Kaelyn Sluyter-Coffey and her ten assists.

Texas School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Churchill, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Texas School for the Deaf didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Akins on the 14th. As for Churchill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against McCallum on the 14th.
