Volleyball Recap: Adrian Comes Up Short

Adrian lost against Pembroke Hill back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blackhawks fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Adrian sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-28, 25-19.

Olivia Engeman paced Adrian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Engeman got some help from Grace Engeman and her 24 assists. Grace was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Adrian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Pembroke Hill, they pushed their record up to 8-4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Adrian has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Barstow on the 25th. As for Pembroke Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Odessa on the 23rd.
