Baseball Game Preview: San Luis Sidewinders vs. Kofa Kings

For the second straight game, San Luis will face off against Kofa. The Sidewinders will be playing at home against the Kings at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, San Luis turned things around against Kofa on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Kings by a score of 9-4.

Erick Espinoza tossed a big game, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit.

At the plate, Cesar Chavira was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

San Luis always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Kofa's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for San Luis, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
