Basketball Game Preview: Riesel Indians vs. Moody Bearcats

The Riesel Indians will take on the Moody Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Tuesday, Riesel was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-43 to Axtell. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Moody unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 61-42 to Marlin.

Moody's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. As for Riesel, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Riesel didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Moody in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with a 47-43 victory. Will Riesel repeat their success, or does Moody have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
