Basketball Recap: Millington Central's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Millington Central extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Cody McGhee. The Millington Central Trojans took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 77-28 victory over the Craigmont Chiefs thanks in part to McGhee, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight assists and six boards. That's the most assists he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Andre Tyler was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Millington Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Craigmont, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Millington Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-55 loss against Brighton on the 17th. Craigmont has also already played their next game (against Covington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
