Merritt Island had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 19-run drubbing they dealt Astronaut on Wednesday. The Merritt Island Mustangs put the hurt on the Astronaut War Eagles with a sharp 19-0 victory. With that win, the Mustangs brought their scoring average up to 7.9 runs per game.

Braeden Rouleau made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Merritt Island got a massive performance out of Ty Brandes, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Liam Miller was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
