Volleyball Recap: Holt Takes a Loss

Holt lost against North Point back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians lost 3-0 to the Grizzlies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-11.

Ryland Rauscher was a one-man wrecking crew For North Point. as he had 16 digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Rauscher a new career-high. Jason Matheny also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Holt has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10-3 record this season. As for North Point, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Holt has already played their next contest (against St. Francis Borgia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Point, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lincoln College Prep on the 2nd.
