North Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They blew past the Ainsworth Bulldogs 3-0. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

One reason for the win was North Central's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 25-12.

Sydney Hoffman was nothing short of spectacular: she had 12 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Maci Herrington, who had 13 digs.

North Central has already played their next contest (against Boyd County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ainsworth, they will take on Lawrence-Nelson in a tournament on Saturday.
