Baseball Recap: Foothill Falcons vs. Dublin Gaels
Foothill had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 13-9 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Dublin Gaels 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ryan Cooney tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. He is becoming a predictor of Foothill's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 6-1 (and 7-8 when he doesn't).
