Basketball Recap: Brashier Middle College Charter Takes a Loss

Brashier Middle College Charter lost against Liberty back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal received a blow as they fell 57-43 to the Liberty Red Devils. The Bengal have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Brashier Middle College Charter still got an impressive performance from Ridge Bryson, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Hutchens, who posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and five assists.

Kendrick Jackson was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds for Liberty. The matchup was Jackson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Smith, who went 5 for 7 en route to 14 points and five boards.

Brashier Middle College Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Liberty, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10.

Brashier Middle College Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-41 defeat against Varsity Opponent on the 16th. Liberty has also already played their next contest, a 72-52 loss against Chesnee on the 17th.
