Preview: Mission Viejo Diablos vs. Aliso Niguel Wolverines        
        
		
            
 The Mission Viejo Diablos will head out on the road to  take on  the Aliso Niguel Wolverines at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Mission Viejo is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a six-game streak of away losses.
 Mission Viejo pushed their score all the way to 67 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a  78-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of El Toro.
 Despite the  defeat, Mission Viejo saw an underclassman step up:  Austin Whitehead  scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was  Alexander Frost, who  scored ten points along with seven  rebounds and three  blocks.
 Meanwhile, Aliso Niguel strolled past the Chargers with  points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game  62-44. Given Aliso Niguel's advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 204th, while the Chargers are ranked 502nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Mission Viejo has  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost nine of their last 11 games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for Aliso Niguel,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 20-7.
 Mission Viejo came up short against the Wolverines when the teams last played  last Wednesday, falling  49-42. Can Mission Viejo avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
