Volleyball Recap: Clovis' Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clovis can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Volcano Vista Hawks on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wildcats haven't been shut out since back in September.

The loss snapped Clovis' winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 12-11 record. As for Volcano Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Clovis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Centennial on the 14th. As for Volcano Vista, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Albuquerque on the 13th.
