Annually one of high school basketball's top events, the Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions announced its 2021 lineup earlier this week.

The 37th edition will take place Jan. 14-16 at JQH Arena on the campus of Missouri State University. Here is a look at the eight team field:

Bishop Gorman, IMG Academy, Pace Academy and Sunrise Christian Academy were all featured in our Way-Too-Early Top 25 for 2020-201 with a strong returning core expected back next season.

Gorman ended the year ranked No. 14, tying the national record with its ninth consecutive state championship. The Gaels strength should be in the backcourt with Zaon Collins and Will McClendon.

Pace Academy is also coming off a state championship run, capturing the Georgia's Class AAA crown last season and returning each of its top five scorers led by Matthew Cleveland.

Sunrise Christian finished 2019-20 ranked No. 4 in the nation and return Kendall Brown and Zachary Clemence. The Buffaloes also added Grady Dick this offseason.

IMG Academy followed a national title in 2018-19 with a Top 20 finish in 2019-20. The Ascenders return Jarace Walker, Brandon Huntley-Hatfield and Moussa Diabate among others.
