Volleyball Recap: Coronado Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Coronado faced Green Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Gators. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 25-13, 25-14.

Coronado's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from THOMAS ROWLEY, who had 14 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave ROWLEY a new career-high.

Coronado pushed their record up to 30-2 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Green Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-18.
