Softball Recap: Hartford Falls Short Against Ranked Otter Valley

Hartford faced Otter Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hurricanes lost 9-3 to the Otters. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Otters this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-3 defeat last Friday.

Faith Brown made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Hartford's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Otter Valley, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

As of now, neither Hartford nor the Otters have any future games scheduled.
