Basketball Recap: Rochester Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Rochester lost against Lanphier back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rochester Rockets fell to the Lanphier Lions 47-42. The contest marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Rochester's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Cox, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave Cox a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Khorbin Gregory, who posted nine points and three steals.

Rochester's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5. As for Lanphier, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 11-7.

Rochester will head out on the road to take on Sacred Heart-Griffin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lanphier, they will host Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
