Basketball Recap: Volunteer Takes a Loss

If Volunteer was feeling good fresh off their 60-32 takedown of Claiborne last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Volunteer Falcons came up short against the Greeneville Greene Devils on Tuesday, falling 71-47. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Greene Devils: they've now lost four in a row.

Volunteer's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Greeneville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.

Volunteer will be playing at home against Cherokee at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greeneville, they will challenge Alcoa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
