It was a good run, but Dickinson unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cypress Woods Wildcats. If the Gators were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rebecca Ajong paced Dickinson's offense, picking up nine kills. Ajong got some help from Angela Allen and her 12 assists.

Dickinson's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Cypress Woods, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

Dickinson has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Bellville on the 30th. As for Cypress Woods, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against George Ranch on the 30th.
