Football Recap: Stillwater Wins Going Away Against Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton

After losing to Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton the last time they met, Stillwater decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 47-21 margin over the Wolverines on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four games by 26 points or more so far this season.

Stillwater had a senior duo take command as Ryan Brown rushed for 169 yards and three scores and Aidan Callanan rushed for 79 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. Callanan's passing game has become a key predictor of the Warriors' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise. Caleb Vacula helped out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards.

Stillwater was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 369 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Stillwater is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.5 points on average over those games. As for Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
