Basketball Recap: Manassas Takes a Loss

Manassas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through an 81-47 loss at the hands of the Soulsville Revolution. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Revolution this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-54 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Soulsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than NICHOLAS WILLIAMS JR, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 17 points. WILLIAMS JR is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. JAKEEL TRUSS was another key player, going 7 for 15 en route to 18 points and four blocks.

Manassas' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Soulsville, their record is now 14-9.

Looking ahead, Manassas will square off against Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Soulsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
