Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kane). They blew past the Sheffield Wolverines, posting a 59-29 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wolves have posted against the Wolverines since January 24, 2020.

Kane found their leader in sophomore Preston Darr, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points and seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for Darr. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock Wensel, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 12 points.

Kane was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Kane has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Sheffield, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Kane will square off against Ridgway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sheffield, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kane at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
